Summer Transition Program for Students with Learning Disabilities

Accessibility Services invites students with learning disabilities, Aspergers and ADHD to participate in a workshop on transitioning to University from High School, College and the workplace.
Session Dates: August 27 to August 31, 2012 from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
(Lunch Provided and Free Childcare Available with Notice)

Many students entering University for the first time have difficulty transitioning. This is especially true for students who have a learning disability. Some challenges include managing the workload, producing University quality work and adjusting to student life. Students who attend this engaging workshop will develop skills to achieve their goals and learn what is expected of them at a University level.
